Pro-crypto candidates in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives are gaining significant ground over their anti-crypto counterparts as the cryptocurrency market experiences a strong bull run.
Data from Stand With Crypto reveals that 226 pro-crypto candidates have been elected to the U.S. House, alongside 14 in the Senate. In contrast, there are notably fewer anti-crypto representatives, with only 106 elected to the House and 9 to the Senate. Among the anti-crypto lawmakers is Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren from Massachusetts, who has made 83 statements opposing crypto, according to Stand With Crypto.
Winners include Republican Senator Bernie Moreno, who won in Ohio on a pro-crypto platform, defeating the firmly anti-crypto Sherrod Brown. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong supported pro-crypto candidates on X (formerly Twitter), signalling optimism about working with a more crypto-friendly Congress. Several pro-crypto candidates are also expected to emerge from ongoing elections in Arizona, Michigan, and Nevada, where digital asset support is a prominent campaign issue.
Bullish Presidential Elections and Market Rally
